Custom Screen Printing and Embroidery

Time frame is generally 2 to 3 weeks or so for delivery.
Prices may vary with the type of article, oversize of your logo, or special considerations.

Embroidery and Screen Printing can be ordered over the phone.  There are so many variables with custom orders that we have found that it is much easier and quicker to allow us to speak to you over the phone when placing your order.  Please call us at (800) 938-1911.
Description of the different types:

A.) Screen printing

    * Great if you only have one color.  
    * Does not work on 6 panel caps because of the seam down the front panel.  5 Panel caps only.

B.) Embroidery  - Great for that professional look

    * Colors: We can change the colors of the threads to whatever you want even if it is different than the picture.  
    * Size:  We will size it to the shape and size of the hat.
    * Minimum Order -  1 dozen.  Orders with 6 dozen or more have a $1.50 discount.

C.) Digital Printing - great for photos  (See flyer)

    * Print anything directly to your garment - that means full color photographs and drawings
    * Can be printed on both Visor, Crown, and Sides.
    * Minimum Order - 2 dozen.  Can be different items.
    * Light colored Caps only

Screen Printing

$1.75 one color only

Minimum = 72 pcs.

$10.00 screen charge per color

A $25.00 artwork fee will also be incurred if the artwork is not in one of the following formats: 
EPS, CDR version 5 or 7, or Adobe Illustrator 8.0
Embroidery

$3.00 per cap (6+ dz.)

$4.50 per cap (1-6 dz.)

$2.00 - 2nd location

Minimum = 12 pcs.

Digitizing Fee: a $35.00 fee is normally charged for digitizing and setting up custom logos and pictures that are not from common stock clipart or lettering and are less than 8,000 stitches

  • If the design is simple letters and numbers in a standard font, this fee can be waived. 
  • Clip Art: Look at embroidery choices from: www.DakotaCollectibles.com.  If you find clipart there, chances are we can provide it without the digitizing fee.
  • If the design is over 8,000 stitches, you will be contacted for any additional cost for digitizing or embroidery before the work is done.
    (Don't worry. We'll contact you first.)
  • Artwork will be emailed back to you for approval before any work is begun.

 Over 8,000, add $6.00/1000 stitches.  No digitizing fees for standard lettering.
Digital Printing

$6.95 ea. for 48+ pcs.
$5.95 ea. for 72+ pcs.

Minimum = 48 pcs.

 No Setup Fee
Artwork preferred - TIFF, .JPG, .EPS, .PDF files at 300 dpi

Ordering process:

1 - Choose between Embroidery or Printing, and multiply times the number of items times the cost per hat.  This is your base price.   Add $2.00 per hat if you want embroidery on a 2nd location.

2.- Decide if you need a custom design.  If so, it will need to be digitized. 
        Digitizing for logos under 8,000 stitches, costs $35.00.   Over 8,000 stitches, the price is an additional  $6.00 per thousand stitches. 

3. -  Please view  Acceptable Art Formats  for custom screen printing.  Make sure your artwork is in the right format and dpi.  Choose the color and the type of font that you want for your lettering.  (available fonts can be selected from MS Word or other word processors)
        A $25.00 artwork fee is charged if you need us to prepare the artwork for you.

4 - email us the artwork and info.  (logos@capsandvisors.com)
We will let you know if it goes over when we receive the artwork.

5 - Because of the effort involved in setting up artwork to ensure complete customer satisfaction, we require a down payment of 50 % before we begin the process.
